Lithuanian rapper Aleksandras kovganko, 38, recently experienced a microstroke, leading to hospitalization in intensive care and a profound shift in his outlook on life. The artist, also known as Freestarz, shared his experience on the programme ”Good Evening, Lithuania,” detailing the shock of the diagnosis and the sobering realization of life’s fragility.
Kovganko‘s health scare serves as a stark reminder of the potential for serious medical events at any age, particularly for men who may dismiss warning signs. His story underscores the importance of proactive health monitoring and seeking immediate medical attention when concerns arise. Following his time in intensive care, Kovganko reports a changed outlook, urging others to learn from his experience and prioritize their well-being.
“When you’re in intensive care, you feel the fragility of life – a guy my age was lying next to me after a serious head operation and he can’t get his bearings,” Kovganko stated. “Then you realize that if you were less lucky, you could be like that too. I started to look at life differently. Let’s learn from other stories – I’d like to address this to men in particular. If you think something is wrong, don’t throw up your hands and say that it can’t happen to me. It can happen to anyone.”
