Unused Animations Discovered in Pokémon Legends: ZA Spark Update Speculation
Lumiose City – Data miners have uncovered unused animations for the character Mable within the game files of pokémon Legends: ZA, released October 16, 2025. The discovery, shared by Pokémon YouTuber and dataminer Lewtwo on Twitter, has ignited discussion among fans regarding potential future content for the innovative Pokémon title.
The animations depict Mable performing a victorious fist pump and exhibiting hearty laughter, with her accompanying Rotom device reacting dynamically to her movements. While the purpose of these animations remains unknown, their presence suggests planned or previously considered content that did not make it into the initial game release.
Lewtwo’s findings also indicate the existence of other unused animations for various characters within Pokémon Legends: ZA, hinting at the possibility of further expansions or updates.
Game Freak has already announced the “Mega Dimension” DLC, scheduled for release on February 28, 2026. This expansion will introduce new story content centered around the Pokémon Hoopa and feature the Mega Evolution of Mega Raichu. The discovery of these additional animations fuels anticipation for what further additions may be in store for Pokémon Legends: ZA.
Pokémon Legends: ZA distinguishes itself within the Pokémon series through its real-time battle system and open-world setting based in Lumiose City. The developers have demonstrated a commitment to expanding and evolving the pokémon experience, leaving the community eager to see how these unused animations-and other potential content-may be integrated into the game in the future.
