Pokémon GO Trainers: Seven New Shiny Pokémon Arrive this Weekend
Pokémon GO is launching its Wild Zone 2025 global event, introducing seven new chromatic Pokémon to the game starting November 15th. Players will have opportunities to encounter these rare variants through wild spawns, 5 km eggs, and exclusive incense encounters for ticket holders.
The event runs from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m. local time on November 15th and 16th. Newly available Shiny Pokémon include Impidimp, Morgrem, Grimmsnarl, Hatenna, Hattrem, Hatterene, and Unown W.
Impidimp and its evolutions, Morgrem and Grimmsnarl, will appear in the wild with increased spawn rates for players with event tickets and can also hatch from 5 km eggs. Hatenna will be featured during fairy-type hour, while its evolved form, Hattrem, requires 25 candies for evolution. Hatterene will be available as a Powerful Pokémon encounter and through Incense.
Notably, Unown W is exclusive to players who purchase a ticket for the Wild Zone 2025 event, appearing only via incense alongside previously released chromatic Unown (D, I, and L). Trainers without a ticket will need to rely on post-event trades to obtain this Pokémon.
To maximize encounter rates, players are encouraged to focus gameplay during Dark and Fairy-type event hours. incense is recommended, especially for ticket holders seeking Hatterene and Unown W. The Gigamax boss encounter may also provide opportunities to find Shiny Grimmsnarl.
