Poco Details HyperOS 3 Rollout for Eligible Devices, Bringing Apple-Inspired “Hyper Island” Feature
Bali, Indonesia – Poco has announced a phased rollout schedule for its hyperos 3 update, bringing a redesigned interface and new AI-powered features to a wide range of its smartphones and tablets. The declaration came during the launch event for the Poco F8 series in Bali, outlining which devices will receive the update and when.
HyperOS 3 represents a significant software overhaul for Poco, wiht a key highlight being the “Hyper Island” solution. This feature mirrors AppleS Dynamic Island, intelligently organizing notifications and activities around the front camera cutout. Beyond this, the update incorporates several new AI-based improvements designed to enhance the user experience.
The rollout begins immediately for the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra, which ship with HyperOS 3 pre-installed. The first wave of updates, targeting existing devices, will reach the Poco F7 and X7 series, with the F7 Ultra update already underway.
December will see updates extended to the Poco F6 models, X6 Pro, Poco M7, the entire Poco M6 family, and C75 owners. A second phase, spanning December 2024 to March 2026, will deliver HyperOS 3 to the Poco F5 series, the base Poco X6 model, poco M7 Pro 5G, Poco C85, and Poco Pad.
Newly released Poco Pad X1 and Pad M1 tablets are also slated to receive the update, with a commitment to completion by March 2026. Poco addressed concerns regarding the tablets not launching with HyperOS 3, confirming updates will be delivered within the specified timeframe.
