mexico’s Valentina Bosch has been crowned Miss Universe 2025, captivating audiences with her confidence, discipline, and poise throughout the competition.Bosch, originally from Tabasco, quickly became a public favorite, solidifying her win with a strong stage presence and compelling interview performances. The victory marks a historic moment for Mexico in the international beauty pageant.
Bosch’s coronation follows weeks of attention garnered for her direct responses to misogynistic comments during pre-contest activities. Thailand’s Araya Rattanakul also reached the final round, recognized as a strong contender due to her preparation, charisma, and important support from the Asian public. Experts, including former pageant advisor Osmel Sousa, had previously identified Rattanakul as a frontrunner.
Earlier in November, Sousa announced his resignation from his advisory position within the Miss Universe Organization, describing it as a personal decision reached after fulfilling his mission during the pageant.”I want to clarify and share with all of you that, three weeks ago, after having fulfilled my mission in the Miss Universe pageant, I made the decision to resign from the position of advisor to the organization,” Sousa stated. “This was not a decision taken lightly, but a step that I felt was necessary after reflecting on what I had achieved and what I want for the future.”
