One UI 8 Re-Released for Galaxy S24 and S23 After Brief Removal
Samsung has re-released One UI 8 for Galaxy S24 and galaxy S23 series smartphones in South Korea,following a period were the update was pulled from servers. The re-release comes with the added benefit of the October 2025 security patch, addressing over 25 Android and One UI vulnerabilities.
The initial rollout of One UI 8 experienced issues, leading Samsung to temporarily halt distribution for both the S23 and S24 lines in mid-October. While Galaxy S22 users saw a swift return of the update, S23 and S24 owners remained on One UI 7 until now.Samsung did not publicly explain the reason for the initial removal.
The updated version allows users to experience the new features included with One UI 8, such as those detailed here. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout internationally in the coming days.
