Millie Bobby Brown Celebrates Decade-Long Bond with ‘Stranger Things’ Co-Star David Harbour
At the Season 5 premiere of Stranger Things on Thursday, Millie Bobby Brown expressed her gratitude for her on-screen relationship with David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper. The two-time Emmy nominee described herself as ”so lucky” to have Harbour in her life for nearly a decade, since the Netflix series first debuted.
Brown and Harbour, who share a father-daughter dynamic within the show’s narrative, appeared to be in good spirits at the event, sharing a hug and laughter while posing for photographers at TCL Chinese Theater.”It’s been amazing. We’re so lucky to have each other,” Brown told Extra. “The show means so much to the both of us, and to everyone hear. This has been the last 10 years of our lives.”
The final season of Stranger Things will unfold in three volumes. Volume 1, consisting of four episodes, will premiere on Netflix November 26, followed by Volume 2 with three episodes on Christmas, and a final installment on New Year’s Eve. All volumes will be released at 5 PM PT.
The fifth season picks up in the fall of 1987, with Hawkins reeling from the opening of Rifts and the characters united in their mission to defeat Vecna, who has mysteriously disappeared. Eleven, portrayed by Brown, is once again forced into hiding as the government intensifies its pursuit, while the looming anniversary of Will’s disappearance casts a shadow over the group.
Brown first gained recognition for her role as Eleven, a psychic who escapes Hawkins National Laboratory in Season 1 and is subsequently adopted by Hopper. The Duffer Brothers created Stranger Things, which premiered in 2016 and quickly became a global phenomenon for Netflix.
