luggin has been a standout player for Mercyhurst, highlighted by a career-high 56 saves against No. 1 Wisconsin most recently. Prior to that, she recorded 59 saves against RMU, earning her a second AHA Goaltender of the Week award. Luggin previously earned the honor after posting 25 saves and a shutout victory against No. 10 St. Lawrence, and also registered 47 saves against No. 5/6 Minnesota Duluth and 28 in the following game. She secured a win in game one of the New hampshire series and made 37 saves in a 1-1 draw against No. 8/9 UConn, along with 30 saves in a 4-3 loss. Luggin also secured a 1-0 shutout victory against RIT with 24 saves.
Lindenwood began their season with losses to No. 13 St. Cloud State (5-0, 5-0) and St. Thomas (4-3, 2-1). They then faced Minnesota State, falling 4-0 and 3-2, before securing their first win against Merrimack with a 6-3 victory. The Lions were swept by then-No. 6 Penn State but rebounded with a Halloween victory over RIT (3-0), followed by a 7-1 loss on November 1. Lindenwood split series with Syracuse and Delaware, and recently won a shootout against RMU. Most recently, they defeated Bemidji State 7-4 and tied 2-2, winning a second consecutive shootout.
Zsofia Pazmandi leads Lindenwood with 7 goals and 7 assists for 14 points, while Josey Dunne-weeks has 2 goals, 4 assists, 6 points, and a team-high 43 blocked shots.
