SAN RAFAEL, CA – The United States Postal Service is actively recruiting to fill over 40 career positions in Marin County, launching a job fair this Friday, November 21st, at 10:00 a.m. at the San Rafael Post Office, located at 40 Bellam Blvd, San Rafael, CA 94901. The event aims to attract applicants during the peak holiday season and beyond, offering on-site assistance with the request process.
The USPS is experiencing its busiest time of year, and the open positions offer a pathway to a stable career with benefits including advancement opportunities, training, insurance, and retirement plans. According to acting Corte Madera Postmaster robin Betts, “We’re seeking applicants committed to delivering holiday magic all year round in Marin County. The job fair will feature insights from a local carrier about the rewards of delivering during the holidays and the long-term benefits of a postal career.USPS staff will guide applicants through the online application process and facilitate real-time submissions for positions posted on www.usps.com/careers.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old (or 16 with a high school diploma or GED), pass a drug screening and criminal background check, and meet driver’s license and DMV record requirements for driving positions. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status of five years is also required.
