Asia Invitations ASI tournament to Showcase Top Teams Just missing Worlds Qualification
A new tournament, the Asia Invitations ASI, will provide a platform for strong teams from the LPL, LCK, and LCP who narrowly missed qualifying for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship. The competition is designed to offer increased visibility and competitive matches for these top-tier players.
This tournament addresses a gap in the competitive League of Legends schedule, giving prominent teams like Gen.G, Hanwha life Esports, Bilibili Gaming, and CTBC Flying Oyster - alongside their regional counterparts – continued high-level play after Worlds qualification concluded. The LCK could potentially feature players such as Heo “ShowMaker” Su and Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, while the LPL may see participation from Weibo, JD Gaming, Invictus Gaming, Top Esports, and Anyone’s Legend. Worlds 2025 is scheduled to take place in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu, China, from October 14 to november 9.
