The comments came during a recent appearance on the show “Uncomfortable Questions,” where she previously discussed the significant impact children have on relationships.
mondeikaitė has openly discussed her ambivalence towards parenthood,acknowledging both the potential joy and disruption to the comfortable life she and Norveilius have built. She described children as “the biggest test that can be,” noting they fundamentally alter the dynamic between partners. While acknowledging a future family remains a possibility, she expressed a sense of hesitation, stating, “We are already older, and you somehow seem too lazy to bother.”
During the interview, Mondeikaitė admitted to a degree of fear surrounding the prospect of children, specifically the potential loss of established comfort. Though, she also emphasized the positive transformative power of family life, even while admitting she hadn’t always actively envisioned herself as a mother. She indicated she is not offended by the questions, but will no longer engage with them.
