La Faccion Ingobernable reclaims ROH World Tag⁣ Team Titles at Final ⁣Battle

WORCESTER, ‌MA – December 13, 2024 – La Faccion Ingobernable has once again ascended‍ to championship status in Ring ⁢of Honor, with Sammy Guevara and The Beast Mortos capturing the ‍vacant ROH⁤ World Tag⁤ Team Titles ⁣at Final Battle. The ‌victory, secured ‍against Tommy Billington and ⁣Adam priest, marks a swift return to the top for the faction following a recent title forfeiture.

The championship ‍opportunity arose after guevara ⁢and RUSH⁤ were ⁤forced to relinquish their‌ previous tag ⁤team reign due to an ⁢injury sustained by RUSH. Originally⁤ slated to challenge bandido for the ROH World Championship, RUSH’s absence has reshaped ⁤the landscape of the upcoming Survival of the Fittest match.⁣ Guevara, Mortos, and‍ Hechicero ‍will now join Blake Christian and Komander in vying for ‌Bandido’s title in a high-stakes contest.

The match‌ saw Billington and Priest gain an advantage with a combination⁢ suplex and lariat, attempting a ⁣double suplex⁢ before Mortos countered. Priest briefly ⁣found success with a hurricanrana, but the ‌tide turned with ⁤interference from Hechicero, despite his affiliation with the Don Callis Family.⁤ Hechicero’s assistance, stemming from an alliance forged for⁢ the Survival of the Fittest match, proved pivotal ‍as he distracted Priest while Guevara executed⁣ a low blow on Billington. Mortos ⁣sealed the win with a moonsault on Billington, crowning La Faccion Ingobernable as the new ROH⁣ World Tag Team Champions.

Beyond the tag team division, Final Battle also witnessed the crowning of new champions in the women’s divisions. Deonna Purrazzo⁤ secured⁣ victory in the inaugural Women’s Pure Championship match, while Red Velvet claimed the Women’s TV⁢ Title for a second time, becoming the first‍ wrestler to achieve this milestone.
