Title: Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods Anime Gets April 2026 Release with Key Staff Reveal

“Kusunoki’s Garden of ⁤Gods” Anime Announces‍ Staff,April 2026 Premiere

The upcoming television ‌anime adaptation of Enju’s ⁣light‍ novel series Kusunoki’s Garden​ of Gods revealed its‍ full staff and a⁢ premiere date ‍of April 2026 in its ‌first promotional video released Tuesday. The series will be directed by Koharu Satou ‌(Re:Life) ⁢at Studio⁣ ENGI, with script supervision and series composition by Toshiya Ono (86 -Eighty Six-, Harukana Receive).

Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods centers ​on Minato Kusunoki, who inherits a house overrun with evil spirits-until his ​unique ability purges them,​ attracting ⁣a host of gods⁤ seeking‍ solace ⁢in the now-purified ⁢residence. The anime will follow Minato as‌ he navigates life alongside his divine neighbors. ⁤

The anime’s staff includes ⁤character designer and chief animation director Shinichi ⁤Miyamae (FLCL Alternative, Ninja Kamui), and‌ composer Yoshihiro Ike (FLCL Alternative, ⁢ Ninja Kamui).

Yen Press publishes the light novels ‌in English, with the third volume scheduled for release on November 11. The publisher describes the story as⁤ follows: “Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki is left in charge ⁤of a terrifying house overflowing⁣ with evil spirits-or at⁤ least, it was full until​ his extraordinary ability cleared them all out! Instead, a procession⁣ of unique and ⁣peculiar gods⁤ is drawn to the comfort⁢ of the purified Kusunoki residence, and Minato spends his ⁢days​ relaxing‌ in the ⁢company of his spiritual neighbors. What else lies ⁤in store for minato⁢ as ​he lives peacefully surrounded‍ by​ gods?”

Enju⁣ launched the story ⁤on ‌the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2021, followed by serialization on Kakuyomu in december of the same ⁣year.⁢ Kadokawa published ⁤the first light novel volume, illustrated by ox, in November 2021. Currently, 10 volumes ⁤have been released, with the 11th slated for November 17.

An Akira Anzai-illustrated manga adaptation debuted‌ on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in November 2021, ⁣and currently ‍has four compiled ⁤volumes in circulation.
