After a 39-year marriage followed by a divorce, artist Karolis Akulavičius’ parents have reaffirmed their commitment to each other with a unique party involving new wedding rings and bachelor/bachelorette parties. People.lt reported on the event.
Akulavičius explained that despite the divorce, his parents desired to restore their relationship to a state of marital commitment. “The marriage is very critically important for parents, so they decided to make gold rings in the same place, the same date.It is a very cozy, lovely, fun – unique celebration, with children, 7 grandchildren and a group of closest people,” he shared.
the family has a tradition of surprising each other, which led to the unconventional idea of organizing bachelor and bachelorette parties for his parents.”My wife and I came up with my parents to make such a foolishness and organize a bachelor/party, brutal fain, well, well, from nine in the morning until the first-first night. There was a special atmosphere, everyone was relaxed. The greatest joy was to see a happy dad. mommy and dad are happy to have them and see them from the side, to enjoy their happiness, perfect for their joy, it is indeed something that is,” Akulavičius said.
The father’s bachelor party included two key activities. First, he received a tattoo of an infinity symbol, representing his love for his mother, which brought him to tears. Second, the group participated in a paintball game, a first-time experience for many, resulting in a physically active and energetic outing.
