The arrival of the OBI3 marks a significant step for Kanto Audio, tapping into the resurgent popularity of vinyl records. The turntable is designed to be easily integrated into contemporary living spaces, boasting a footprint suitable for shelves or desks. Its key selling point, however, is its projected price of £179 (approximately SEK 2,500), positioning it within a crowded but receptive market segment where Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in phono preamp offer compelling value.
The OBI3 features a built-in phono preamp, allowing connection to powered speakers or a receiver. It also includes Bluetooth transmission, enabling wireless playback to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Kanto Audio emphasizes the turntable’s compact design, measuring just 33cm x 24cm x 11.8cm, making it ideal for smaller spaces.
