Macau – K-pop singer Hyuna Kim collapsed onstage during a performance in Macau, prompting concern from fans and criticism surrounding a recent social media post revealing her weight. Videos circulating on TikTok show the incident, with Kim being carried offstage by a security guard after performing her 2011 hit, “Bubble Pop.”
The collapse has ignited a debate about Kim’s health, notably after she shared a photo of herself on Instagram standing on scales, revealing a weight of less than 50 kilograms. Fans have expressed worry over potential rapid weight loss, with some speculating she lost ten kilograms in recent weeks. Kim herself acknowledged the incident in an Instagram post, apologizing to fans who traveled to see her perform and stating, “I’m sorry that I couldn’t act as professionally as I would have liked… To be honest, I can’t remember anything.” She added she would “work on my endurance and work hard consistently.”
Following the onstage incident, Kim posted a picture of her feet, which appeared to be bloody. The post and her weight reveal have drawn criticism from followers, with one commenter writing, “Hyuna has finally managed to gain weight like she’s been trying to for years. And now she’s back to her thinnest phase.” Another user expressed concern over the impact of her posts,stating,”hyuna,I don’t think you consciously wont to harm anyone with this,But just so you know,these types of posts are hurting a lot of people who look up to you.”
