Iowa PBS to Broadcast Extensive 2025-26 College Wrestling Schedule
Des moines, IA – Iowa PBS announced today a extensive broadcast schedule for the 2025-26 college wrestling season, featuring seven live duals encompassing Division I, Division III, NAIA, adn JUCO levels. The commitment marks an unprecedented level of coverage for collegiate wrestling in the state, bringing a wide range of matches to viewers across Iowa and beyond.
For decades, Iowa has been a national hotbed for wrestling, and Iowa PBS’s expanded coverage reflects the sport’s deep roots within the state. This season’s schedule aims to honor wrestlers from all levels of competition,offering fans a diverse and exciting viewing experience. The broadcasts will be available live on statewide Iowa PBS and streamed on iowapbs.org and youtube.
The broadcast team will be led by veteran voices Tim Johnson, known as “The Voice of College Wrestling,” and Jim Miller, a 10-time NCAA Division III champion coach and five-time National Coach of the Year. Kyle Klingman of FloWrestling will join Johnson and Miller for all women’s duals.

Miller added, “With its deep legacy in our sport, Iowa PBS is once again breaking new ground. The variety of conferences included in this season’s broadcasts honors wrestlers from all levels and offers something for every fan.”
The 2025-26 schedule includes the following live broadcasts (subject to change):
* Thursday, December 11 at 8 p.m.: University of Iowa Women vs.Grand View University
* Thursday,January 15 at 7 p.m.: Grand View university vs. Missouri Valley College (Men’s and Women’s teams)
* Wednesday, January 21 at 7 p.m.: Indian Hills Community College vs. Iowa Central Community College (Men’s and Women’s teams)
* Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m.: Iowa State University vs. South Dakota State University
* Tuesday, February 3 at 7 p.m.: Luther College vs. Central College
