Intel to Showcase Next-Gen ‘Panther Lake‘ Processors at CES 2026
LAS VEGAS – Intel has officially confirmed it will unveil its highly anticipated Panther Lake series processors at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, taking place January 5th - 8th at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The declaration marks a significant milestone for the company’s Core ultra generation, built on Intel’s 18A production technology.
The Panther Lake series represents a leap forward in processor design, incorporating new core architectures, an iGPU based on the Xe3 architecture, and a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Intel’s CES presentation will detail its AI PC strategy and how the new generation supports the company’s broader efforts, particularly in the emerging field of agent/agentic AI systems gaining traction with Windows 11. The showcase will feature not only the Core Ultra hardware itself, but also complete systems built around the new processors.
Intel’s 18A process, initially facing production challenges, has reportedly seen significant improvements in yield rates, according to recent data. The Panther Lake series is the first client market application of this advanced manufacturing technology. While the unveiling of a dedicated Xe3-based dGPU series remains unconfirmed, the underlying Xe3 architecture will be a key topic of discussion, as it forms the foundation of the Panther Lake SoC’s integrated graphics.
