Zlín Bolsters Offense with return of Forward Přemysl Svoboda on Trial Basis
Zlín, Czech Republic - Struggling HC Zlín is continuing its roster overhaul, adding forward Přemysl Svoboda on a trial basis until the end of december. This marks the third reinforcement for the team in just five days,as they attempt to climb out of a slump in the Czech First League standings. Svoboda returns to Zlín after a stint with his former club, HC Stadium Litoměřice.
The move comes as zlín looks to inject more offense into their lineup. Svoboda previously played for the Rams at the end of last year, arriving from Kaufbeuren, Germany. Though, his initial run was cut short by an injury, limiting him to just six points (3 goals, 3 assists) in 20 games.
“Přéma has had a tough last season,” explained Zlín’s sports manager, Jan Srdínko, on the team’s website. “He played well again this year in Litoměřice, so we are happy to have him in our ranks again.”
