Black Bear Pictures owner Teddy Schwarzman declined to comment twice when questioned about the status of Ritchie’s completed films, “In the Gray,” starring Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal (filmed in 2023), and “Wife & Dog,” featuring Benedict Cumberbatch and Rosamund Pike (filmed earlier this year). Currently, neither film has a confirmed release date, with Black Bear reportedly seeking distribution deals. AMC Networks has released a new 30-second teaser for the third season of “Interview with the Vampire,” titled “The Vampire Lestat.” The teaser showcases Lestat (Sam reid) exhibiting rockstar-like behaviour during an interview. The series, based on Anne Rice’s novels, is expected to return in 2026.
Janus Films has released the trailer for ”Resurrection,” a new sci-fi film directed by Bi Gan. The film, opening in New York and Los Angeles on December 12th, is set in a future where humanity has traded the ability to dream for immortality, and follows an outcast (Jackson Yee) who discovers illusion and beauty within his own world.
