Fallout: New Vegas Remaster Reportedly in Development
Recent activity from a prominent industry insider suggests a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas may be in the works. Jez Corden, editor at Windows Central, responded to a social media post lamenting the lack of a New Vegas remaster wiht a succinct “nv comes too,” fueling speculation among fans.
Corden has a history of accurate leaks regarding Microsoft and its studio projects. the news arrives following the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered earlier this year, and after previous leaks indicated Bethesda was considering remasters of both Oblivion and Fallout 3. Bethesda previously confirmed additional Fallout projects are in development, though Fallout 5 is expected to be several years away, following the release of The Elder Scrolls VI.
Fallout: New Vegas, originally developed by Obsidian Entertainment and released in 2010, remains a fan-favorite entry in the Fallout series. Neither Bethesda nor Microsoft have officially confirmed the remaster.
