Santo Domingo,Dominican Republic – Dominican physician Dr. Alberto Díaz has traded his stethoscope for a leadership guide, releasing his new book, “You Can Have It All,” a culmination of five years of research and personal reflection.
Dr. Díaz, a former two-term Vice President of the Dominican Medical College, discovered a disconnect in his ability to connect with others, prompting a shift in focus from professional achievement to personal leadership. “One day I realized that I was not really connecting, starting with my family, and where you first have to be a leader is with your family,” he shared during an appearance on “El Nuevo Diario AM” on El Nuevo diario TV.
This realization sparked a journey of self-discovery, leading Dr. Díaz to identify his talent for encouraging others and translating that into a focused study of leadership. “That is where I begin this process, I discover my talent, I discovered that I like to work with people, I like to serve, I discover my purpose and it is from ther when I begin to work on the topic of leadership and I do my research and I do a workshop and today I take that workshop to a book,” he explained.
“You Can Have It All” is described by Díaz as a project born from experience and a desire to positively impact others. He will launch the book alongside a leadership workshop, designed to foster human, conscious leadership oriented towards purpose, scheduled for November 26 and 27 at the Chao Teatro, featuring special guest Darian Vargas.
