PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 17, 2024 – Diplomacy surged to victory in the $19,014 featured conditioned trot at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Friday, marking a turning point for the four-year-old gelding who had previously shown inconsistency with wins and breaks in recent starts.
Driven by Niko Karna, Diplomacy settled into mid-pack as Manoah, with Corey Callahan at the reins, set a brisk pace, leading Greenspan through a :28 first quarter and reaching the half-mile marker in :57.2. Karna then signaled Diplomacy to move without cover, reaching the three-quarters in 1:26.1. In the stretch,Diplomacy,at 8-1 odds,demonstrated strength,winning by two lengths in 1:55,finishing ahead of Manoah and Greenspan.
Diplomacy is a Muscle Hill gelding whose dam, Thats All Moni, earned over $500,000 and is a sister to champion Snow White. he is trained by Noel Daley and owned by Allister Stables of Monroe Twp, New Jersey, L A Express & Sjoblom inc. of Chesterfield, New Jersey, Frank Canzone of Scarsdale, New York and Michael Dolan of Sarasota, Florida.
The card also featured a pair of $18,310 fast-class events. Miki In Luv, an Always B Miki-Lovers Dream mare, secured a win in the pacing distaff event with a 1:51.1 mile, overcoming a first-over challenge against pacesetting Elegant A. Ridge Warren drove the winner for trainer Ron Coyne Jr., with ownership held by Ron Coyne Stables Inc. of Allentown, New Jersey, Blair Corbeil of Leduc, Alta.,Richard Carney of Hartsdale,New York and Farrell carney of Tuckahow,New York.
in the other sub-feature, a trot, three-year-old Greenshoe-Swizzle Sticks gelding Lefties Righties dominated older rivals, leading from start to finish in 1:53.4. corey Callahan drove the winner for trainer Jeff Cullipher, with ownership by Pollack Racing of Venetia, Pennsylvania.

harrah’s Philadelphia concludes it’s racing week on Sunday with a 12:40 p.m.post time. A carryover is available in the Pick 5 wager in race five. The track will then return to its fall schedule of Thursdays and Fridays at 12:25 p.m. and Sundays at 12:40 p.m., with adjustments for holidays and the Breeder’s Cup weekend.
