Danique’s Life Update: From “B&B Full of Love” to a Life in teh Czech Republic with Daniël
Danique has shared an update on her life nearly seven months after appearing on the reality show “B&B Full of Love,” detailing her blossoming relationship with Daniël and her move to the Czech Republic.
Initially, Danique extended her stay in the Czech Republic by a week following filming. A subsequent trip back to the Netherlands with Daniël was followed by a difficult parting when he returned, prompting tears - a rare occurrence for her, as she doesn’t typically cry over romantic interests. She confessed to feeling deeply in love with him and fearing he would forget her.
The couple quickly established a strong connection, enjoying in-depth conversations that weren’t fully captured on the show.Danique described playing a question-based card game with Daniël four times, each session lasting an hour, and finding their answers remarkably aligned.
Driven by her feelings for Daniël,Danique made the decision to quit her catering job in Amsterdam at the beginning of the summer to move to the Czech Republic and be with him. While she enjoyed her work with supportive colleagues and a kind owner, she felt ready for the next chapter. She acknowledges some friendships have faded with distance, but recognizes this as a natural consequence of moving away and a way to identify genuine connections. Her parents and sister visited two weeks prior to her writing, and while they enjoyed the visit, her parents found it difficult that she no longer lived at home. They maintain daily contact and see each other every three months.
Danique now lives with Daniël and is involved in renovating apartments. Their days are filled with practical tasks like trips to the hardware store and supermarket, with the goal of completing the renovations. They recently planned a weekend trip to Prague‘s Christmas market.
She finds the Czech language challenging, describing it as even more difficult then French, with its multiple pronunciations of the letter ‘r’. While she’d like to learn, the demands of the B&B often lead them to relax with a series in the evening.
Danique misses certain comforts from the Netherlands, specifically good bread and cheese, which are difficult to find in her new location. She longs for sourdough bread with a thick crust and cheese from the market.
She describes their relationship as harmonious, able to seamlessly transition between working together and enjoying their time as a couple. Danique notes that this is her first relationship, and she anticipated finding it difficult, but has adapted easily. She admits she struggles with expressing her feelings, but feels agreeable and at ease with Daniël, allowing her to open up naturally.
