Indie Sensation CloverPit Launches on Xbox and Game Pass – A Viral Hit Comes to Consoles
the viral rogue-lite CloverPit, developed by indie duo Panik Arcade, unexpectedly arrived on Xbox series X|S, Xbox one, and Xbox for PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass, yesterday during the Xbox Partner Showcase. The game previously achieved significant success on Steam, selling over one million copies in just 10 weeks.
CloverPit blends elements of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, challenging players trapped in a dilapidated cell with a slot machine and an ATM to pay off mounting debts. Failure to do so results in dire consequences.
Players manipulate the slot machine, utilizing prizes and charms to create powerful combinations and overcome the odds. strategic planning is key to achieving winning streaks, bending the rules, and ultimately escaping financial ruin.
