Carrefour Italia Scores with New PLAYMOBIL Team Collection
Milan, Italy - carrefour Italia is kicking off teh holiday season with a new loyalty program offering customers the chance to collect PLAYMOBIL figurines of players from 11 major Italian football teams. The campaign, launching November 17th and running through December 31st, aims to blend the excitement of football with family fun, driving traffic and engagement during a key retail period.
The promotion allows Carrefour Loyalty Card holders to obtain a PLAYMOBIL player with every €20 spent plus an additional €1.50, or by redeeming 80 Sprint points. Participating teams include Inter, Juventus, Milan, Roma, Lazio, Atalanta, Bologna, Fiorentina, Genoa, Sampdoria, and Turin. A dedicated PLAYMOBIL Carrefour briefcase, priced at €5.50 or 1,100 PAYBACK points, is also available for collectors to store their players and engage in a PLAYMOBIL-themed “football transfer market.”
This integrated campaign, conceived as a multi-channel experience, will leverage in-store displays, digital marketing, out-of-home advertising, radio spots, and connected TV to maximize awareness and drive customer participation. The creative direction is led by Riccardo Catagnano, with video production handled by AKITA FILM, audio production by Top Digital, and post-production by You Are. Alessandro Bolzoni served as Director of Photography.
