Brian Eno, Neneh Cherry, and a collective of over 100 artists have joined forces to release a benefit single, “#TogetherForPalestine,” to raise funds for medical aid organizations supporting Palestinians. The single, launched December 8, is available across major streaming platforms and aims to provide critical assistance amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The initiative arrives as global concern mounts over the escalating conflict and its devastating impact on civilians.Proceeds from “#TogetherForPalestine” will be split between the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and the Palestine Medical Relief Service (PMRS), organizations providing urgent medical care and humanitarian aid to those affected by the conflict. This collaborative effort underscores a growing wave of artistic activism responding to the crisis, alongside other initiatives like benefit concerts and music geoblocking campaigns.
The diverse roster of contributing artists includes prominent names such as Eno, Cherry, Peter Gabriel, Imogen Heap, and Kae Tempest, alongside a broad spectrum of emerging and established musicians. The single’s release follows a benefit concert organized by Mustafa in Los Angeles, scheduled for January 10, featuring artists like Geese, Blood Orange, Alex G, Clairo, and Faye Webster, hosted by Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal.
Further demonstrating solidarity, a growing number of artists-including My Bloody Valentine, Saba, Shygirl, YHWH Nailgun, and Denzel Curry-have joined the “No Music for Genocide” campaign, geoblocking their music in Israel. This campaign aims to exert economic pressure and amplify calls for a ceasefire and lasting peace.
