JACKSONVILLE, FL ⁣- Bethune-Cookman University ​women’s basketball‍ suffered an 85-36 defeat against North Dakota‍ State⁤ University Wednesday at UNF Arena. The loss marks the second game of a three-game road trip for the wildcats.

North⁢ Dakota State’s⁢ dominant ‌performance showcased‍ notable disparities in shooting accuracy and rebounding, ultimately leading to the decisive victory. B-CU struggled from the field, shooting just 25% compared to NDSU’s 50.9%. The Bisons also controlled ⁢the‍ boards,outrebounding ​the Wildcats 33-18.

Avery koenen led North Dakota State ⁢with 19 ‍points and 12‌ rebounds, while Jocelyn Shiller‍ contributed 12 points and seven assists. No Bethune-Cookman player reached double-figure scoring; Madison ‌Holden was the team’s leading scorer with eight points. NDSU connected on seven of thier 17 three-point attempts, with contributions from Marisa Frost⁢ and Abby Graham.
