Battlefield 6 to Launch Eastwood Map Featuring Golf Course, New Modes in November 2025
Breaking: Battlefield 6 players will soon have a new arena for combat: the Eastwood map, set to release on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. the upcoming map draws inspiration from Hollywood and Los Angeles, offering diverse environments including urban landscapes, opulent mansions, and sun-drenched Californian locales. A unique feature of Eastwood is its inclusion of an entire golf course, complete wiht a playable golf cart vehicle.
The Eastwood map is part of an ongoing content rollout from EA and DICE aimed at expanding the already successful Battlefield 6 experience.Released last month, the game boasts a variety of maps and modes, with further additions currently in progress.
Beyond Eastwood, Season 1’s next phase will introduce the limited-time Sabotage game mode and updates to the RedSec Battle Royale mode. Data mining has also revealed plans for nine additional game modes, including Convoy, Tug of War, and Payload.
Battlefield 6 currently features a diverse selection of maps, ranging from close-quarters urban combat to expansive open battlefields. The game’s “Portal” mode further enhances customization,allowing players to create their own maps and challenges.
The game offers four distinct character classes – assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon – each equipped with unique weapons and abilities. Battlefield 6 also incorporates a ”Kinesthetic combat System,” providing players with enhanced movement options like leaning and the ability to rescue downed teammates. Environmental destruction remains a core gameplay element, offering tactical advantages to savvy players.
As the 18th installment in the long-running Battlefield series, Battlefield 6 represents a return to a more grounded tone reminiscent of titles like Battlefield 3 and 4. Developed under the leadership of Vince zampella with a budget exceeding 400 million euros, the game has already achieved notable success, selling over 7 million units within its first three days of release and garnering positive reviews.
