UH Mānoa to Host Forum on the Rapid Evolution of AI in Business
HONOLULU, HI – The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s PACE program, in collaboration with the Data and computer Sciences department, will present ”Exploring AI in Business” on October 20, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at the Walter Dods, Jr. RISE Center, Level 2. The event features speaker Sanjiv Nathwani and aims to address the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the professional landscape.
The accelerating development and application of AI technologies – including Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and AI Agents – are fundamentally reshaping industries and career paths. This forum will explore the opportunities and challenges presented by ”applied AI,” focusing on how professionals and entrepreneurs can navigate this evolving landscape to maximize success and avoid potential career disruptions. The presentation will foster discussion on strategic approaches to AI adoption and career development in this rapidly changing field.
