Title: 2025 Texas Division Men’s Collegiate Water Polo Schedule

Collegiate Water Polo Competition Set to Begin in Texas

LUBBOCK, TX – The 2025 season for the Men’s Collegiate Club Texas Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association is scheduled to begin September 27-28 at Texas Tech University. Eight teams – Baylor, Louisiana State, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University “A”, Texas A&M University “B”, Texas State University, texas Tech University, the University of North Texas, the University of Texas “A” and the University of Texas “B” – will compete for the division title and a berth in the 2025 Men’s National Collegiate Club Championship.

This year marks the 24th season of Texas division competition, historically dominated by Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas, and Texas Tech. The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The upcoming schedule includes regional events at Texas Tech and Rice University in Houston, with a potential third tournament to be determined. The season will culminate in the Texas Division Championship, October 25-26, hosted by texas A&M University in College Station, where the division’s representative for the national championship will be crowned.
