MATTHEWS, N.C. – Radford University secured the No. 1 seed and outright regular-season title in the 2025 Big South Conference Women’s Soccer Championship, conference officials announced following the conclusion of the regular season. The Highlanders (7-1-0 in conference play, 21 points overall) will aim for their 10th Big South Tournament crown.
USC Upstate earned the No. 2 seed with a 6-2-0 record (18 points), while Longwood claimed the No. 3 seed (5-3-0, 15 points) – its highest seeding since 2021. High Point and Gardner-Webb tied for fourth at 3-3-2 (11 points), with High Point receiving the No. 4 seed due to a 3-0 head-to-head advantage. Charleston Southern rounded out the six qualifying teams as the No. 6 seed (3-4-1, 10 points).
The championship will begin with first-round matches on campus Saturday,Nov. 1. Longwood will host Charleston Southern at 7:00 p.m., and High Point will host Gardner-Webb at 4:00 p.m.The semifinals and finals will be held at the SportsPlex in Matthews, N.C., on Nov. 6 and Nov. 9, respectively.
