Tiffany stratton Credits Fan Reaction for⁢ Babyface Turn, Reveals⁣ Creative Shift⁤ following Elimination Chamber

PERTH, AUSTRALIA – Tiffany⁤ Stratton’s transition from villainous⁤ heel to fan-favorite babyface wasn’t a planned creative decision, but rather an organic shift sparked by audience reaction,⁣ teh ⁢rising WWE star revealed in a recent interview wiht the No Contest Wrestling Podcast ‌with O’Shea Jackson. ‌Stratton also discussed her‍ comfort level with ‍different character roles, stating she finds playing a⁤ heel‌ “10 times easier” than portraying a babyface.

Stratton explained⁤ her initial success came while embracing the ⁢heel role,‌ noting, “I feel like I was a heel right off ‌the bat.⁤ So that’s why it comes so easy ‌to me.”‌ She elaborated on⁣ the challenges of being a babyface, ‌explaining the higher expectations and‍ potential for a negative‌ crowd response. “As a baby‌ face, if you do that [mess up], the crowd could turn on you, or you‍ could get booed, and, you know, you’re supposed to‍ be ⁢like the face of the company.”

The turning point occurred at the 2023 ⁤Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia. Stratton recalled the surprise ‌of ⁢hearing the ⁣crowd chant⁤ “Tiffy ‌Time” during her first Premium Live Event as a main roster‍ talent. ‍”I really didn’t think anybody‍ knew who I was, as I had just gotten called up, like, ⁤a ⁢month ago,” she said. Initially disbelieving, Stratton admitted to giggling inside ⁤her Chamber pod, questioning,‌ “Are they chanting for me?”

The positive ⁤reaction provided both⁢ confidence and pressure. “It almost gave me,like,an adrenaline rush, and it gave ⁢me more confidence. But I also,‍ like, ‍put a little bit more pressure on myself, because I’m like, ‘Okay, now they’re chanting for‍ me.I have them like, I hope I don’t‌ mess anything ⁤up’,” she explained, ‌calling the match‍ her “breakout moment.”

Following the event, Stratton’s creative ⁢direction shifted. While her work⁤ as a heel initially garnered ‌fan support, she noted the company requested a slight adjustment to her persona. “They’re kind ‍of ⁣just like, you ⁢know, ‘be a little bit more‍ likable now. You don’t need to be so⁣ bitchy in your promos,’ which, like, I understand fully,” she said. ⁣Stratton added she hadn’t intentionally changed‍ anything ⁢about her performance,‌ simply beginning to receive cheers from the audience.
