Nantou show goes on despite weather warnings.
Despite looming typhoon **Danas**, singer **Tian Fuzhen** successfully completed her “Tian Dialect” tour’s final performance in Nantou, Taiwan, even as the region prepared for severe weather.
Weathering the Storm
The fourth typhoon of the year strengthened into a moderate typhoon. As the storm approached, forecasters predicted it would come very close to Penghu by 11 p.m., prompting some areas to suspend work and school.
In fact, the Central Weather Bureau issued a sea warning for Typhoon **Danas**, advising residents to take precautions (CWB 2024).
Auspicious Timing
**Tian Fuzhen’s** concert commenced at 4 p.m. in Nantou’s Puli Township. Halfway through the show, authorities announced that work and classes would be suspended starting at 6 p.m. Many fans considered it good luck that the performance wasn’t affected.

Leading up to the event, many fans expressed concerns about potential disruptions due to the typhoon. Some fervently hoped for clear skies. Social media was abuzz with prayers and well wishes for good weather.
