Another Reality TV Romance Faces Strain: benjamin Samat and Maddy Burciaga Navigate “Complicated Period”
Dubai, UAE – Following the recent divorce announcement of Les Marseillais stars Jessica Thivenin and Thibault Garcia, another couple from the French reality TV world is confronting challenges. Benjamin Samat and Maddy Burciaga have revealed they recently experienced a “complicated period,” though they appear to be on the mend.
The news comes days after Thivenin publicly shared her heartbreak, stating, “A few days ago, Thibault made the decision to divorce.I have no choice but to accept this reality, to accept that he no longer loves me. My world, my life, my dreams have just collapsed.” while Thivenin and Garcia’s split signals a complete separation, samat and Burciaga’s difficulties stemmed from recent health issues.
Samat confided on Snapchat that the couple faced hardship due to illness and injury. ”We had a somewhat complicated period because Maddy was sick, I was injured,” he explained, according to Tele-Leisure. He detailed a period of hospital visits for Burciaga’s stomach ailment and his own injury-related low morale following their return to Dubai.
However, Samat assured fans that things are now improving. “Everything is back to normal so it’s okay. Ther, today, everything is fine […] Everything is going well in our life as a couple, everything is going well in our family life,” he said, as reported by Voici.
Samat and Burciaga’s relationship began in 2020 and quickly became a fan favorite. They formalized their marriage in Dubai in 2024 and welcomed their first child, Andrea, several months later.Samat has expressed a desire to expand their family, stating, “Quite honestly, I’m very happy with my life today. I just wont a second child.”
