SSV Ulm 1846 Suffer Narrow⁣ Defeat to Havelse, Coach dotchev Calls for Improved Consistency

It was‍ clear ‌that it⁢ would be difficult to combine on this ‍pitch,” Dotchev stated after⁤ the match. “What was unfortunate for me⁤ was that we didn’t manage to take advantage ​of the first opportunities. That would ⁤have been good for us. With the first standard situation we conceded a goal⁤ – that played into Havelse’s hands, who then withdrew.”

Havelse’s early goal proved pivotal, allowing them to adopt a more defensive​ posture and frustrate Ulm’s attacking efforts. Dotchev noted a positive shift in his‌ team’s performance after the break. “We ⁣started very well in⁢ the second half, then we were⁣ brutally counterattacked. The way⁣ we ⁢played in the last few minutes is what I would have liked from the start.But the team is alive and ⁤has‌ shown very good morale.”

Despite the setback, ⁣Chessa remains optimistic about Ulm’s prospects. “We still​ have enough games and can fix it,‍ so we can’t paint everything black. we will ⁢work with the new coach and get more automatisms⁢ in place, then we will⁤ get the ⁤points in the relegation‌ battle.”
