Teen Cancer Survivor Charms Coaches on “The Voice Kids” – and Chooses Team Fiori
vitry-en-Artois,France – Fourteen-year-old Charlotte delivered a show-stopping blind audition on TF1’s The Voice Kids 2025 this past Saturday,captivating all four coaches with her rendition of Zazie’s “Speed.” After a moment of stunned silence and heartfelt deliberation, charlotte ultimately chose to join the team of Patrick fiori.
But Charlotte’s journey to the stage is far more inspiring than just a powerful voice. The young singer is a childhood cancer survivor, and views her participation in The Voice Kids as a powerful act of reclaiming her life. In a recent interview with Télé-Loisirs, Charlotte opened up about her difficult battle with cancer, including a major operation at age nine.
“It’s incredible, I couldn’t come back,” Charlotte shared, describing the overwhelming emotion of having all four coaches turn their chairs. “I have never been so happy in my life.”
Charlotte’s passion for singing began in early childhood, nurtured by her own musical mother. She honed her skills with a vocal coach and gained early experience through a more2talent competition in Paris, where a recruiter spotted her potential and recommended her for The Voice Kids.
Despite her talent,Charlotte admitted to pre-audition jitters. “I was very stressed,” she confessed. “I thought it was possible that they did not turn around… I was afraid to be disappointed.”
Though, those fears quickly dissolved as Fiori, along with Matt Pokora, soprano, and Santa Patrick, all recognized her star power.The decision to join team Fiori wasn’t easy, as Charlotte expressed her admiration for all the coaches. Ultimately, she felt Fiori’s artistic sensibility best aligned with her performance.
“patrick Fiori is the one who touched me the most,” she explained. “I find that he is the one who was closest to what I sang.”
