An in-game world map and magnetic stickers accompany the physical box set priced at 267 PLN at RTV Euro AGD, according to ppe.pl, as The Legend: Ocarina of Time Remake arrives for the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5. Delivery is free, and because supplies are limited, an early purchase is recommended.
Three Interface Modes Shape Combat
The Standard mode displays classic information such as health points, magic resources, equipped items, a minimap, and contextual hints.
The Pro mode removes most interface elements, leaving only dialogue windows, save notifications, and the enemy-targeting marker. For maximum immersion, the Master mode hides even the targeting reticle, relying solely on Navi floating near the locked enemy to guide the player’s focus during combat and exploration. Nintendo aims to offer more independent exploration of Hyrule without discarding classic assists, addressing past criticism that earlier entries held players’ hands too much.

Remake Adds New Side Quests and Dungeon Changes
Youtuber Zeltik highlighted a new side quest in Hyrule Castle Town where a potion shopkeeper gives Link an empty bottle to catch a stray bug, which players keep filled with red healing potion upon completion. This task remains simple rather than acting as a multi-stage quest, and the remake apparently lacks a quest log.
The release also features a more challenging archery range with tighter time limits, alongside layout changes in the Forest Temple designed to prevent veterans from clearing the dungeon from memory. Combat encounters will measure the time required to defeat opponents and record the final score.
Overhauled Visuals and Voice Acting
Journalists who tested the game early pointed to thoroughly overhauled visuals that retain the original 1998 style while adding detail, complemented by fully voiced cutscenes, new dialogue, and a confirmed Polish language version. Testers also noted gameplay additions including sprint, jump, and gyro aiming mechanics alongside quality-of-life enhancements, while Adam Celarek observed that the title looks significantly better in person than in promotional trailers.
