Four Finalists Compete for $200,000 on “The Island: Extreme Challenge“
The grueling competition of “the Island: Extreme Challenge” on Telemundo is down to its final four contestants, who will battle for a grand prize of $200,000 on monday, December 1st. The second season of the reality show has tested the limits of 20 participants divided into teams - Panthers, Eagles, and Sharks – with only nine advancing to the individual stage.
This season’s competition, marked by hunger, fatigue, and challenging conditions, will award prizes beyond the top finisher. The runner-up will receive $40,000, third place earns $25,000, and fourth place will take home $15,000. Puerto Rican contestant Nievelis González was eliminated just before the final, finishing in fifth place.
the winner will follow in the footsteps of Adrian Mount, a Cuban actor who won the first season of “The Island: Extreme Challenge,” which was filmed in Türkiye in 2024.
Following the conclusion of this season, Telemundo will premiere the tenth season of the sports competition, “Exathlon United States,” on Tuesday, December 2nd.
