Nakhon Ratchasima,Thailand – August 2,2025 – The Thai women’s national volleyball team continued its winning streak today,defeating Indonesia 3-1 in the ongoing 2025 Volleyball Competition. This victory marks the second consecutive win for the Thai squad, showcasing thier growing dominance in the tournament.
The Thai team, clad in their distinctive black uniforms, faced a resolute Indonesian side in their second match of the competition. Coach Kiatphong “Ot” Ratchakriangkrai opted for a strategic lineup, featuring players who are not typically starters, in an effort to test the team’s depth and adaptability. The initial set saw a strong performance from Indonesia, with Deka Salzabila leading their offensive charge, ultimately securing the set 25-22. However, Thailand quickly regrouped, emphasizing defensive strength and offensive transitions in the second set. Sasipaporn,a key player,delivered crucial points,leading Thailand to a decisive 25-15 victory,leveling the match at 1-1. The third set proved to be a closely contested affair, with both teams displaying resilience. Coach Ot introduced Pimpichaya and Pornphan to bolster the team’s system, and despite a challenging fight, Thailand’s stability prevailed, clinching the set 27-25.The fourth set saw Thailand playing with renewed confidence, with Sasipara delivering the final blow to secure a 25-15 win, sealing the match 3-1.In parallel, Vietnam also secured a victory, defeating the Philippines 3-1, setting up an anticipated clash between Thailand and Vietnam tomorrow, August 3rd, at 5:00 PM.
