TNA Star Tessa blanchard Reveals Breast Augmentation, Cites Personal Empowerment
GUADALAJARA, MEXICO – Professional wrestler Tessa Blanchard publicly announced she underwent breast augmentation surgery on July 30th, sharing her story in a recently released YouTube video to “control my own narrative about it.” Blanchard described the decision to go public as “a bit scary” and “vulnerable,” but reiterated her commitment to authenticity with her fans, stating she has “always tried to be real with the people who follow me.”
The announcement comes after Blanchard reflected on a discouraging experience early in her career. In 2014, a mentor told her, “Tessa, you are never going to make it in this business. You are never going to make it off the Indies if you don’t have your breasts done.” Blanchard powerfully countered that claim, emphasizing her subsequent success: “The truth is, I did make it. I’ve won championships, I’ve made history and, and I did it all without changing my body for anybody else, and, and I’m very proud of that.”
Blanchard was clear that her recent surgery was a personal choice,driven by self-confidence and not external pressure. “I’ve come to a place where it’s not about approval,it’s not about chasing acceptance,it’s about looking in the mirror and doing something that makes me feel good in my own skin,” she explained. She also expressed a desire to feel more comfortable in certain clothing, stating, “There are dresses that I would love to wear, there’s bathing suits that I would love to wear, that I truly believe I will have the confidence to wear once I make this change.”
The surgery took place in guadalajara, Mexico, and was followed by a month of recovery at home.blanchard described the initial days as particularly challenging, noting she was unable to sit up independently and required assistance with daily tasks. However, she expressed eagerness to return to her active lifestyle. “I want to get back in the gym. I want to do something… I’m ready to get back to work,” she said.
Ultimately, Blanchard expressed satisfaction with the results and her decision to share her experience openly. “This is for me,” she affirmed. “I feel happy. I feel honestly, I don’t know if it’s okay to say, but I like, I feel more woman like I feel more confident in my own skin.” She concluded by stating she feels “super, super happy with the results” and is now back on the road and resuming her training regimen.
