Sources indicate that in exchange for Blake Lively‘s legal team withdrawing a subpoena against Taylor Swift, Swift’s legal representative, Scott, allegedly provided evidence suggesting that opposing counsel had threatened to release private text messages between Swift and Lively.
While Lively’s representatives have denied this assertion, the relationship between the two women has reportedly been strained as the incident.
In June, an anonymous source informed the Daily Mail that Lively was attempting to reconcile with Swift, but these efforts were unsuccessful.
“Even though Taylor has cut ties with her, Blake hasn’t with Taylor,” the source stated to the publication.
The insider also revealed that Lively had made numerous attempts to contact Swift through various channels, including texts, voicemails, and emails, in an effort to mend their relationship.
“Taylor hasn’t responded to any of Blake’s pleas. She’s ignored all her groveling excuses. The missives explain there must be some misunderstanding on Taylor’s part and that she would never do anything to harm their ten years of closeness and personal secrets,” the insider elaborated.
