college Park’s Culinary Scene to Benefit Local charities at November ‘Taste‘ Event
The Rotary Club of College Park will present its annual “Taste of College Park” fundraiser on Thursday, November 6, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Great Southern Box Co.Food Hall & Bar, located at 2105 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando’s Fairvilla Packing District. The event promises an evening of local flavors and community support.
Now in its annual iteration, Taste of College Park serves as the Rotary Club’s primary fundraising effort, directly impacting vital Central Florida programs.More than a dozen restaurants and beverage vendors will participate, offering tasting portions of thier specialties to attendees, with all proceeds benefiting local initiatives.
Guests can anticipate a diverse culinary experience, including dishes from a variety of local kitchens paired with curated selections of wine, craft beer, and mead. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will further contribute to the fundraising goals.
The Rotary Club of College Park directs funds raised to organizations including Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida, the Christian Service Center of Central Florida, and One Heart for Women & Children.
