Kaizer Chiefs Forward Tashreeq morris Targeted by Durban City
Durban City is reportedly pursuing Kaizer Chiefs striker Tashreeq Morris, possibly reuniting the player with former coach Gavin Hunt. The move could bolster durban City’s attacking options as they establish themselves in the Betway Premiership.
Morris, a 31-year-old hailing from mitchells Plain, Cape Town, joined Kaizer Chiefs in January 2025 after the dissolution of SuperSport United. Despite his pedigree from the Cape Town Spurs academy and experience under Hunt, he has yet to find the net in 10 appearances for Amakhosi. Durban City,recently promoted to the top flight,are seeking to add firepower to their squad,currently relying on Joslin Kamatuka and Jean Lwamba. hunt is believed to have requested Morris,initially on loan,with a permanent transfer a possibility.
