Tamara Pettinato‘s “Tell me Something nice” Debuts on Channel Nine
Tamara Pettinato launched her new television program, Tell Me Something Nice, on Channel Nine this Sunday, directly referencing the phrase repeatedly heard in a viral video featuring herself and former president Alberto Fernández. Pettinato explained the program’s title, stating, “The name is my header phrase, it is what [people] tell me the most for a year in the networks. Why not appropriate and use it in my favor?”
The program, which aims to present political candidates in a more human light, debuted after 11:30 PM and achieved a floor rating of 0.8 points,placing third in its timeslot. Pettinato opened the show explaining the name’s origin: “Welcome to Dal, one day I will explain the reason for the name but you have to transform the ugly for something nice.” She also expressed her affection for the channel,stating she “never wanted to leave.”
The premiere featured an interview with Julio Zamora, the mayor of Tigre and a candidate for senator on the “We are bs. As.” front. The interview was structured around three segments: personal questions randomly selected from a fourteen-question questionnaire,a segment where Zamora posed a question to AI and discussed the response,and an exploration of Zamora’s path into politics and his political influences – identifying Juan Domingo Perón,Evita,and Ramón Carillo. Zamora also shared a personal anecdote, recounting jumping a three-meter wall “for self-esteem.” He was also asked to quickly assess Javier Milei, cristina Kirchner, and Sergio Massa, and with whom he would form an alliance.The program peaked at 1.0 rating point during its premiere, maintaining its third-place position in the timeslot.
Sunday’s overall viewership was led by coverage of the World Cup from Hanoi, which reached 11.2 points. The Argentine Voice also drew significant attention, peaking at 10.5 points during its live voting gala, which began with a performance of “The island of the Sun” by all the coaches.
