Cary Elwes will led the cast, alongside comedic actors Zach Galifianakis and Kumail Nanjiani. Stefani Robinson, previously a writer on Atlanta, will serve as showrunner.
The project arrives alongside a broader resurgence of interest in the Frankenstein mythos. guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel will premiere on Netflix November 7, and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The bride! is scheduled for release on March 6, 2025. Whether Very Young Frankenstein ultimately reaches platforms like Hulu or Disney+ remains to be seen.
