LOS ANGELES, CA - Hollywood‘s Chateau Marmont played host to GQ’s 30th Annual Men of the Year party last night, bringing together a constellation of stars honored in the magazine’s latest issue.The dinner, presented by Capital One, served as a gathering for the collaborators featured in the publication’s landmark 2025 edition, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and marking a milestone for the iconic men’s magazine.
The event drew a diverse group of honorees including Stephen Colbert, Sydney Sweeney, Seth Rogen, hailey Bieber, SZA, Oscar Isaac, and the duo Pusha T and malice of Clipse. Photographer Tyrell hampton, who shot all seven cover stories, was also in attendance, capturing moments throughout the evening.
Guests embraced a ’90s Hollywood red carpet theme, with Walton Goggins arriving in a trench coat he described as “a little Brad, a little Samuel L, a little Keanu.” Supermodel Carolyn Murphy, accompanied by fellow honoree Will Arnett, seamlessly fit the aesthetic.
The evening saw a mingling of creative forces.Rogen was seen with The Studio co-star Chase Sui Wonders, while Tom Ford creative director Haider Ackermann posed with Isaac and Patrick Schwarzenegger, both sporting his designs. “There’s an elegance in everyone that I’m dressing, there’s a gesture, there’s a swag. And they make it their own,” Ackermann noted.
A especially heartwarming moment occurred as Pusha T and Malice exchanged congratulations with SZA on her grammy nominations, and were introduced to her parents. Alexander Skarsgård,arriving directly from Stockholm,joined Noah Baumbach just in time for a toast delivered by GQ editorial director Zach Welch.
Welch emphasized the magazine’s commitment to community, stating, “We are professionals and we all know on a night this, it’s like a content Olympics,” but adding, “I think and hope that the reason GQ is thriving after 68 years-and Men of the Year is at three decades-is because we try to do things a little differently, and try to take a community approach and actually get to know each othre a little bit, and support each other and have it be an ongoing relationship.”
The dinner continued late into the night, with guests reluctant to leave despite the beckoning red carpet downstairs. The event underscored GQ’s enduring influence and its evolving approach to celebrating cultural impact through connection and collaboration.
