Amazon Unveils New Echo Speakers, Color kindle Scribe
Amazon expanded its device lineup today with new Echo speakers and a color version of its Kindle Scribe e-reader, alongside upgraded Ring security cameras. The announcements signal Amazon’s continued investment in smart home technology and digital reading experiences, aiming to capture a wider consumer base as the holiday season approaches.
The new Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, priced at €649.99, introduces a color display to the digital writing experience previously offered by the standard Kindle scribe (€520). Amazon achieved this by developing an extremely thin coating for the display glass, embedding microscopic bumps designed to mimic the feel of writing on paper. Concurrently, Amazon is bolstering its home security offerings with 4K resolution upgrades to its Ring doorbell and outdoor camera lines – the Wired Video doorbell Pro (€249.99) and Ring Outdoor Camera Pro (€199.99) – promising enhanced detail recognition, even in low-light conditions.
