Rio โde Janeiro Hosts Landmarkโฃ Veterinary Medicine Congress
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Rio de Janeiro is currently tehโ global focal point for small animal veterinary medicine as the Wsava 2025 Congress commenced โคtoday, marking the institution’s 50th โฃanniversary. Theโ three-day event, running from September 25 to 27, โขbrings together veterinary professionals, leading experts, adn companies from around the world.
Thisโ year’s congress represents a โขsignificant milestone for โthe veterinary profession โคin Brazil, as it marks the โWsava’s return to the country after a 16-year absence. The event is jointly organized by the Worldโ Veterinary Association of Small Animals (WSAVA), the National โAssociation ofโฃ Veterinary Clinicians of small animals in Brazil (Anclivepa-Brasil), and the โ Ibero -American Federation of Veterinary Animal Associations (FIAVAC).
The โคcongress features Master Conferences, Practical Workshops, networking Sessions, and Cultural Activities, designed to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration. According to Andrรฉ Lacerda de Abreu, president of Anclivepa Brazil, in his Welcome message, “We are organizing, for the โfirst time concurrently, the Wsava World Congress, the Brazilian Congress of Aclivepaโ (CBA) and โthe Fiavac Congress.โข The โขWsava World Congress is much moreโค than a congress.
