VUMC to Transform Former Brentwood AT&T Data Center into Major Outpatientโข Clinic
BRENTWOOD, TN -โฃ Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) will redevelop the former AT&T data centerโฃ at โค402 franklin Road in Brentwood into aโฃ comprehensive outpatient clinical facility, the association โannounced Wednesday. The โ347,500-square-foot building, one of Brentwood’s largest, was leased by VUMC earlier this year.
The project expands Vanderbilt โHealth’s โfootprintโ in rapidly growing Williamson County, offering increased access to specialized medical services. VUMC hasโ a โขproven โฃtrack record of triumphant property redevelopment, previously transforming a former shopping mall into Vanderbilt Healthโ at One hundred Oaks andโ a grocery store into Vanderbilt Health Belle Meade.
Rehabilitation ofโ the building willโข beginโ in the near future, though an exact timeline โhas not been provided. The new clinic will house cancer diagnostic and treatment services, including surgery, and also heartโค and vascular care, orthopedics, โคand sports medicine clinics.โฃ On-site laboratory and imaging capabilities willโ also be included.
VUMC โcurrentlyโข provides adult specialty care, pediatric emergency and inpatient โcare through Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, and operatesโค five walk-inโ clinics throughout the county.โข The organization is also affiliated with Williamson โHealth, the county’s nonprofit independent hospitalโฃ system.
“Vanderbilt Health looks โคforward to โฃproviding Williamson County and nearby residents with ever-improving access to world-class expertise and care,” VUMC โstatedโฃ in its release. Zoning forโค the property already โpermits medical office use.
